Hi
We have just purchased a 1970 Unit, that has wallpaper on all walls. The wallpaper over the year’s have had numerous coat’s of paint over the top.
What is the best way to remove the wallpaper?
Appreciate your help on this.

Hello,
I have just discovered your site- fabulous!
Our coat hanger has just fallen off our wall and we would like to screw it back into the wall.
However we are having problems as the wall is comprised of plaster on stone. Any holes made, gradually get bigger.
Obviously the anchors must be strong to hold a number of coats/ hats etc but what do we use?
Any advice would be most appreciated!
Kind regards,
Gita
Hi there
I have outdoor (on a covered deck area) non-slip glazed porcelain tiles that are proving extremely difficult to clean when trying to remove marks. Standard mops and wetted brooms don’t work very well and are incredibly time consuming as they get catch on the surface and are quickly destroyed by the rough surface of the tile. So far the only retail advice I have received is that it will be a problem trying to find a solution (even steam mops with the brush head have not been recommended). I’m starting to think that a high pressure water cleaner is going to be the only option, but we are on Level 6 water restrictions so this option is not particularly ideal. Do you have any other suggestions as to what I can use to make this job a little easier and quicker to do?
Thanks,
Malina.
Hi there,

Hi,
Our house has the old red I think terracotta tiles which are deteriorating. Pieces missing and wear and breaks are common. Also inside the roof what there is of the old pink bats are covered in red dust from the tiles. Also the (I think it’s called flashing) silver stuff under tiles is all worn and hanging and shows daylight through lots of the roof. If I wanted to get my roof retiled, would I also get my flashing redone at the same time ? Also would it be possible at the same time to remove all old insulation and vacuum all red dust out of the roof and replace the insulation at the same time ?
Thank you,
Steve.
Hello
I am looking for some advice on how to remove marks that have been left on my marble benchtops as a result of coming in contact with lemon and other products. Is there a way to remove them other then getting the marble rebuffed.
Thankyou for your time
Regards
Janet
Hi
I have floor tiles over concrete foundations and looking for an easy way to replace the tiles with carpet.
Can I lay the carpet over the tiles, or do I have to remove the tiles first??
Thanks
Rona
Hi, just wondering if you know the best way to dispose of the palm trunks. Can this timber be used as a garden element?
